Logistics & Distribution

After customs: logistics inside the US

Clearing customs does not put product in front of customers. Holding US inventory ahead of demand, shipping to order and relabeling to retailer requirements are handled under the same contract.

Pre-entry stocking (Pre-Clearance)

Bring the volume in before the rules change.

When a change has a known date — importer eligibility rules, a tariff adjustment — we enter the volume you plan to sell before it takes effect and hold it in a US warehouse. Sales continue from stock already in the country after the change.

  • Volume and timing — sized against the sales plan, shelf life and storage cost
  • Entry as importer of record — KALIMENT NEXUS LLC enters the goods
  • Receiving and inventory control — managed by lot and expiry date

A note on terms

Pre-Clearance on this site means entering and stocking goods ahead of a rule change. It is not CBP Preclearance, the inspection program CBP operates at certain foreign airports.

Ambient, chilled or frozen requirements are confirmed per product before a warehouse is assigned.

Korean food export supply

Sourcing is finished when the product can legally enter the US, not when it has been found.

We supply Korean processed foods to overseas buyers. Candidate searches start from certification databases and government registries; suppliers are graded on export readiness (certification, English labeling capability, workable MOQ) before contact. Once a deal is agreed, supplier-side and buyer-side documents are issued on their own price bases, and multi-supplier loads are consolidated under one importer and one set of shipping documents.

  • Pre-contact checks: certificate cross-reference, final processing site, FDA facility registration
  • Supplier data: FOB price, carton dimensions, units per carton, net and gross weight, HS code, shelf life, storage conditions
  • One shipment, one buyer, one exchange rate; CBM and pallet counts calculated from carton data
  • Korean and English catalogs generated from product data; English editions carry no prices

Contracting and shipping party on the Korean side: KALIMENT KOREA INC.
